Dispatch stated a third caller reported that two men may have been involved in the attack, and someone made a statement about almost getting stabbed in the neck.
A few minutes later, the woman was found near Flanagan’s South Ender Deli and Market at the corner of Iron Works Road and South Street. She confirmed she was one of the involved parties, the officer told dispatch. Firefighters and EMTs were not requested to examine the woman.

The officers went to the camp and attempted to locate the men involved, traipsing through the woods and a cornfield. After about 30 minutes, police were unable to find the men. One officer did report finding a wallet owned by one of the men.
Officers also went to a home on Joffre Street to check for vehicles at a house there that may have been connected to the men, according to scanner chatter. A neighbor reported one of the men left the home about two hours before. The woman was also seen with the man.
Later, an officer was able to reach one of the men by cell phone and he said he was on the Langley Parkway. Officers met up with him and took him into custody on a domestic violence charge.
