The man reportedly stated that he was going to take a shower but officers alleged that they heard other noises, as if large items were being moved around in another room. They went to investigate the noise and allegedly found Porter hiding in a pile of clothes on the floor.
Porter and the man reportedly stated that the commotion was about his ex-girlfriend finding the two of them in the apartment together. She was then arrested on the warrant charge, according to the report. The warrant out for Porter was for nonpayment of fine on a theft charge, with $485 cash to settle.
While checking her purse, police allegedly found a hypodermic needle and spoon with heroin residue, heroin in a packet, and a Suboxone tablet, and other charges were added. Porter was released on $11,000 personal recognizance bail and is due in court on June 24.
Porter has been arrested a number of times on other drug charges, according to reports.
