CONCORD, NH — The New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office is now involved in a suspicious death case in Berlin after the body of a woman was found in an apartment on Main Street on Thursday night.
The suspicious death investigation was connected to a statewide Amber Alert issued around 5 a.m. on Friday for Dustin Mark Duren, 37, and his two children, Elowyn Duren, 4, and Vaelyn Duren, 1, who were also missing and presumed to be in danger.
Around 10:30 a.m. Friday, state police canceled the Amber Alert, saying the children had been located. An update BOLO (be-on-the-lookout) alert to law enforcement informed police that the subject of the alert had been found and was in custody.
