Woman Injured During East Concord Rollover; Charged With DWI: Watch

Police and firefighters were sent to Cranmore Ridge for a rollover crash Friday. The driver was taken to the hospital and arrested later.

CONCORD, NH — One driver was taken to Concord Hospital and arrested later after a rollover crash Friday on Cranmore Ridge Drive.

Around 2:30 a.m., a resident of the Apartments at Cranmore Ridge housing complex heard a crash near the entrance and called 911. Dispatch said the driver, a woman, was trapped inside the car.

When firefighters and police arrived, they confirmed the car was on its roof at the entrance to the complex. Police said the car was around 100 yards into the complex.

“All crews are working,” the fire commander said, “extrication in progress. Standby on a trauma alert for right now.”

Around 2:45 a.m., the woman was removed from the car and the fire commander said they did not need the hospital to be put on trauma alert. An officer told police dispatch while the driver was injured, it did not appear to be a serious bodily injury incident since she was wearing a seatbelt.

EMTs took the driver to Concord Hospital, with an officer following them.

Concord firefighters cleared and handed the scene to police at 3 a.m. A tow truck was called later.

Deputy Chief John Thomas of the Concord Police Department said the driver, Katrina Kindel, 65, of Concord, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated.
