“Police reviewed store video and observed someone removing the purse from the shopping cart,” according to Lt. Timothy O’Malley of the Concord Police Department’s criminal investigations unit. “This person is described as a white female, possibly in her 30s, long auburn colored hair, glasses, wearing a dark colored tank top and black pants.”
In the video, O’Malley noted, the suspect is seen reportedly walking to her car, getting in the driver's seat and pulling the car forward into the adjacent parking space at which point she gets back out of the vehicle and allegedly took the purse. The woman then reportedly left the parking lot in a dark colored sedan.
