Women Arrested After Stolen Pickup Truck Found By Police
Bow Police: Diane Senechal and Melissa Brand, both of Manchester, were arrested this morning on Route 3A.
BOW, NH — Bow Police and New Hampshire State Police arrested two women this morning after a stolen pickup truck was spotted on Route 3A, according to police. Diane Senechal, 31, of Janet Lee Court in Manchester, was arrested on May 26, 2017, for felony receiving stolen property. Also arrested was Melissa Briand, 40, of Second Street in Manchester, on a felony warrant for identity fraud out of Carroll County Sheriff’s Department. A third woman was taken into protective custody as she was allegedly “under the influence of an illegal drug,” according to Lt. Scott Hayes of the Bow Police Department.

An officer reportedly saw a pickup truck that was reported stolen out of Plymouth at around 1:45 a.m. on Friday near the Irving Circle K on Route 3A in Bow.

“Bow Police, with the assistance of the New Hampshire State Police, conducted a felony stop on the vehicle on Route 3A,” Hayes noted in a press statement. “Three females were taken into custody without incident.”
Senechal was allegedly driving the vehicle when it was stopped, according to Hayes.

Senechal was released on personal recognizance bail and is due in Merrimack County Superior Court on June 8. Briand was transferred to the custody of the Carroll County Sheriff’s Department.
