A Wonderful Day at White Park

Sunday, Sept. 27, 2015: While tens of thousands of people were at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway for the races today, others were just hanging out at the park.

Here was the scene at White Park earlier today: Kids playing Concord Parks and Recreation Department flag football, a guy shooting hoops, a seagull watching the ducks on the pond (seriously?), a bicyclist taking a break, climate change activists were having fun, too (I think that was yesterday but their chalk remained ...) and no, those two gray dots in the sky aren’t more UFOs in Concord, they are two military jets preparing to fly over Loudon before the start of the race.
