THORNTON, NH — New Hampshire State Police, who usually have run-ins involving reckless operators and speeding vehicles, like Ford Mustangs, had their hands full with real horses on I-93 Sunday. At around 3 p.m., troopers from Troop F were called to Thornton for a report of two horses running north on the Interstate. A trooper saw the horses and gave chase.

Eventually, the horses were stopped and calmed, with the assistance of the owners, bystanders, and the Thornton Police Department.
