• Ground breaking for police station Monday (tncontentexchange.com) — Conway's police station expansion reaches a milestone Monday, Nov. 9, with a groundbreaking ceremony at 1 p.m. Voters approved borrowing up to $9.3 million in April, and the town has borrowed $6.3 million so far. Officials are awaiting a federal grant decision that could reduce borrowing, though grant requirements could also increase construction costs. 
• After Democratic sweep, here's what could change at the NH State House (unionleader.com) — Democrats' sweep of New Hampshire's Legislature sets up new debates over school funding, property taxes and marijuana legalization, with Republican Gov. Kelly Ayotte still holding veto power. Steve Duprey, first elected to the House from Conway, urged Democrats to govern carefully rather than treat the results as an endorsement of their party.
