• Man charged in crash that killed Deering pedestrian to remain in jail (wmur.com) — A 75-year-old woman was killed after being struck outside her home on Route 149 in Deering, and the driver accused in the crash is being held in jail pending a hearing. Prosecutors allege he was intoxicated and speeding when his SUV left the road, rolled over, and hit her at the end of her driveway. A probable cause hearing is set for May 12.
