• Mascoma Lake swim raft removed due to vandalism (vnews.com) — Enfield has pulled the popular swim raft from Shakoma Beach on Mascoma Lake after repeated vandalism forced town staff to chase it down the lake several times. With no lifeguard on duty and limited public works capacity, officials say they can’t justify the extra labor costs but are exploring ways the raft might return later this season.
