
Bestselling author Dan Brown, who grew up in Exeter and attended , will appear at The Music Hall in Portsmouth in May.
He will be there May 18 to talk about writing, movie making, science, religion, and more in the first-ever benefit for Writers on a New England Stage.
Proceeds from the evening will help The Music Hall and New Hampshire Public Radio continue present their writers series.

"As a big fan of both The Music Hall and New Hampshire Public Radio, I'm honored to help celebrate two organizations of such great local importance," Brown said in a statement.
Brown was recently in Exeter to Water Street Bookstore's 20th anniversary.

Following his on-stage discussion, Brown will talk to NHPR host Virginia Prescott, who will also take questions from the audience. The house band Dreadnaught will provide live music.
