Exeter Police Arrest Woman for Arson, Reckless Conduct
Shari Brown arrested for Aug. 15, fire on Alder Street.

A local woman was arrested last week on felony charges after allegedly setting a fire last month on Alder Street.
Shari Brown, 52, no known address, was arrested on a warrant and charged with arson and reckless conduct, both felonies.
Exeter Police Chief Richard Kane, Exeter Fire Chief Brian Comeau, and New Hampshire State Fire Marshal J. William Degnan announced the arrest on Sept. 5, alleging that Brown intentionally set the blaze at 9 Alder St. on Aug. 15. According to police, she lived a mobile home located at the same address.

Brown was arraigned on Sept. 5, at the 10th Circuit District division and was released on $5,000 cash bail. She has a hearing on Monday Sept. 8.
Bail conditions require that Brown is not to have any contact with any of the witnesses in this case.
