Five Great Events in the Seacoast: Aug. 10-12
Check out a new restaurant in Portsmouth and festivals in Newmarket and Eliot, Maine.

1. HIT A NEW RESTAURANT ON THE WATER. The new restaurant Martingale Wharf is opening Friday in Portsmouth. Located on Bow Street in the waterfront restaurant block, Wharf a huge outdoor seating area with room for more than 300 patrons. The menu features promegranate glazed swordfish, mac and cheese carbonara, and lemon pound cake French toast. Yum.
2. RUN A RACE; DOWN SOME OYSTERS. Newmarket's Olde Home Day & Oysterfest will be held all day Saturday. The festival will be held in downtown Newmarket, featuring a 5K road race, and oyster tent, beer garden, and live music.
3. SUMMERTIME IN ELIOT. Summerfest will be held all day Sunday in Eliot, Maine at the Raitt Homestead Farm Museum. It features horse rides, a truck pull, and a BBQ competition.

4. WATCH WILL'S COMEDY. William Shakespeare's comedy "Much Ado About Nothing" will performed Sunday at 2 p.m. in Portsmouth as part of the Prescott Park Arts Festival's summer series.
5. HANG OUT (AND PARK) IN THE PARKWAY. Take a ride up and down , Exeter's crown jewel along the Squamscott River. The parkway recently to traffic. You can park there and take a stroll up and down the riverside road.
