Ioka Group to Hold Open Forum for Teens

A group trying to revive the Ioka theater is hosting a special forum for teenagers tonight at .

The forum, in which attendees are encouraged to share their ideas for the theater's future, will be held tonight at 5 p.m.

The Exeter Theater Company has held over recent weeks.

include screening independent films there, hosting comedy acts, installing a bar for cocktails, and putting on student plays.

The theater company is working with to revive the historic theater.

The theater company is trying to get 1,000 donors to prove there's wide support for the project. When that goal is met, the philanthropist is prepared to lease the theater to the company for $1 a year for 99 years.

The company already has more than 600 donors.
