Mid-Winter Meat Sale Underway at Vernon Family Farm

NEWFIELDS__Vernon Family Farm is offering customers the change to stock up and save while buying local during their mid-winter sale on bulk meat boxes in their farm store.

“Want to save money on delicious, local meats? These bulk boxes are the way to go,” said Nicole Vernon, who owns the farm with her husband, Jeremiah. “You may never have considered doing something like buying a whole animal, it may sound intimidating, but buying meat in bulk means saving time and money.”

Current deals can be found on the farm store’s website and include a combo ground meat box featuring Short Creek Farm ground pork, a grass-fed ground beef box, a whole chicken box, mostly boneless chicken box or bone-in chicken box. All of Vernon Farm’s chicken is non-GMO pasture raised.

For those who don’t want an entire box, Vernon suggests splitting a box with a friend or family member. Orders can be made online via the farm store website or in person at the store.
