Mirsky: Believe in America, Not Donald Trump
In this 2020 Presidential Election year, stay focused on what you know in your heart to be true.

EXETER, NH — This is Attorney David Mirsky reporting from the frontlines of the 2020 Presidential race, as we enter the July campaign season, and as we begin to reflect on what our country is all about, which we will confront more earnestly in a few days on the Fourth of July.
This is America, so don’t give up hope. We have a Coronavirus Pandemic right now, which was stoked up by President Donald Trump’s refusal to address the problem early on, when the damage and death might have been at least limited or maybe even prevented. But of course Donald Trump calculated how this situation might affect himself, his chances for re-election, and so he minimized the problem, ignored it in fact, hoping that a deadly highly contagious disease could be neutralized in the same way as he has been doing with everything else he has done wrong, by repeating as many shameless lies as the new media will report until the problem goes away. This is a tactic. Remember that. You need to look at what he has actually done to us, and you can start by looking at where you now must spend most of your time, trapped in your home, avoiding a deadly virus, avoiding Donald Trump’s virus. COVID-19 is Donald Trump’s virus because he caused it to spread while he was in charge. We cannot go back to the Pre-Donald Trump era, but we must hurry fast to a Post-Donald Trump era, before things get even worse.

A person in a position of responsibility who would do this, lie to the public about a coming danger, just to protect his own political interests, really deserves to be removed from that position of responsibility.
And there are millions of Americans working hard to accomplish this. We will need to continue fighting hard against the forces that are still being used to prop up the disastrous Trump Illusion, the illusion that America is really not a good place, that it is not a kind and decent place that protects the disadvantaged and the disabled, and children, regardless of where they come from. The Trump Illusion would have you believe that America is not a place where the oppressed people of the world can come and seek a new life, freedom, and fully express their potential as human beings.

We know that is an illusion, because ALL Americans, tracing back to their ancestors, come from people who were fleeing oppression or fighting against oppression, and the ancestors of ALL Americans came here to express freedom and fully express their potential as human beings.
The Trump Illusion is not about the real America. The Trump Illusion is an Illusion of Hate, as Trump constantly expresses his truly cruel concept of America as a place of hate.
Donald Trump wants America to view itself as a place of Hate, because Trump is so full of hate that he cannot avoid appearing repulsive if he does not convince a large group of Americans to believe that his Hate is okay, not bad, an acceptable American principle.
That is Donald Trump’s biggest lie.
And so, New Hampshire, and the rest of America, as we get ready to deal with the devastation that Donald Trump has brought us, with his refusal to Do His Job and Protect This Country from a Deadly Worldwide Pandemic, let us not swallow any additional bitter lies that spew forth from the mouth of Donald Trump, and please on November 3, 2020, use your vote to invite him to leave that position of responsibility that he has so soiled and damaged.
God bless America.
