Newmarket Woman Loses Life In Brentwood Crash

Two Exeter men were also injured after a vehicle lost control, crashed into a tree, and rolled over. NHSP say speed may be a factor.

BRENTWOOD, NH — The New Hampshire State Police are investigating a fatal motor vehicle accident in Brentwood this morning, according to a press alert. At just after 12:30 a.m. on June 17, 2017, Brentwood Police were sent to a crash on Middle Road involving an Audi A4 being driven by an Exeter man. Due to the seriousness of the crash, NHSP were called in to assist, according to Sgt. Steven Wheeler of the NHSP.

“Troopers along with fire and rescue personnel responded to the scene to assist and found one vehicle, identified as an Audi A4, off the south side of the roadway on the front lawn of 66 Middle Road,” he noted. “Based upon the initial on-scene investigation, it appears that the Audi was traveling eastbound on Middle Road when it lost control, struck a large tree, and rolled over.”

A front passenger in the car – Jasmine Marston, 22, of Newmarket – sustained fatal injuries as a result of the crash and was pronounce deceased at the scene, according to Wheeler. The driver and a backseat passenger – another man from Exeter – were injured and transported to Portsmouth Regional Hospital. Middle Road was closed for around four hours.
