UPDATED: Route 125 in Brentwood Reopened After Crash
NHSP: A driver in an SUV has sustained life threatening injuries.

Updated, 4:10 p.m. According to the New Hampshire State Police, on March 6, 2015, at around 8:15 a.m., Troop A troopers were called to assist with a serious motor vehicle accident on Route 125 in the town of Brentwood.
“(A) preliminary investigation revealed that a vehicle was traveling northbound on Route 125,” according to an alert. “The vehicle slowed to a stop, possibly to make a left hand turn into a local business.”
The Freightliner box truck, being driven by a Raymond man, was also traveling northbound on Route 125. For reasons that are still under investigation, the Freightliner box truck struck the rear of the second vehicle, a Nissan Pathfinder, according to reports on Twitter.

The truck driver was not injured in this accident; the SUV driver was flown from the scene by a DART medical helicopter to Boston Medical Center with serious injuries, according to a statement, and later passed away.
Route 125 in this section was closed for more than three hours with traffic diverted via Crawley Falls Road.

The identity of the second driver involved, as well as the vehicle information, is being withheld at this time pending notification of family members.
The New Hampshire State Police were assisted at the scene by the State Police Commercial Vehicle Unit, the State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit (C.A.R.), the Brentwood Police Department, the Fremont Police Department, the Rockingham County Sheriff’s Department, the Brentwood Fire Department, the Kingston Fire Department, and the Epping Fire Department, according to a statement.

Route 125 in Brentwood is closed at this hour due a motor vehicle accident in the area, according to alerts on Twitter. A woman reportedly was airlifted from the scene after sustaining life threatening injuries.
