Trial for Man Who Sprayed Fire Extinguisher at Hotel

A Massachusetts man allegedly caused more than $1,500 worth of damage.

A Massachusetts man is scheduled to face a trial after allegedly spraying a fire extinguisher in the lobby of the Hampton Inn in Exeter.

Lucas Calhoun, 31, of 51 Sachem Dr., Sagamore Beach, was recently indicted on a charge of criminal mischief in Rockingham County Superior Court.

An indictment means a grand jury has determined a trial is warranted based on evidence in the case.

On Nov. 30, Calhoun discharged the extinguisher, causing more than $1,500 worth of damage, according to court papers.
