• Vehicles collide in road rage incident in Franklin (newportdispatch.com) — Police are asking Franklin residents for help identifying the driver of a black Dodge pickup involved in a Nov. 3 road-rage hit-and-run that badly damaged another car on Route 11 and Lawndale Avenue. Investigators say the truck should have white paint transfer and missing fender pieces; anyone who saw the incident or recognizes the vehicle is urged to contact Franklin police.
   

• Sixteen Merrimack County school districts adopt school tax caps so far (concordmonitor.com) — Franklin voters have approved a new school district tax cap, adding another layer of limits on local education spending on top of the city’s existing municipal cap. Superintendent Dan LeGallo warns the district has already cut staff and programs, and fears athletics, extracurriculars, and other services could face renewed risk as officials navigate a tighter budget.
