• Hiker Rescued On Mount Washington After Ignoring Advice To Turn Around (northeastexplorer.com) — Emergency crews from Gorham Ambulance helped evaluate a New Jersey hiker who needed an overnight rescue on Mount Washington after repeatedly refusing advice to turn back. Conservation officers and volunteers reached him after midnight, transported him to Pinkham Notch, and he was taken to Androscoggin Valley Hospital in Berlin for precautionary evaluation.
