Mark Pearson has signed a pledge supporting a constitutional amendment to limit terms in Congress. The organization is working to persuade enough state legislatures to call an Article V convention focused solely on congressional term limits, citing broad bipartisan public support for the idea. 
• Louis Edward Griffith (carolinereview.com) — Hampstead residents are remembering longtime community member and inventor Louis Edward Griffith, who with his first wife Margaret raised four children and was active in the local Congregational church. Griffith, a pioneering printing-technology entrepreneur and avid outdoorsman, died August 9 in Englewood, Florida, leaving behind a large and close-knit family.
