Girl Scouts Fall Camp-in

Join a space where girls are celebrated for being uniquely themselves. Launch her sense of wonder into real discoveries at the Hampstead Public Library, 9 Mary E. Clark Drive, on Saturday, Oct. 24, from 10-11:30 a.m. Girl Scouts are hosting this special event just for families of girls in kindergarten through fifth grade.

Participants will learn about the benefits of joining Girl Scouts, do an activity together, play games. The library will be transformed into a cozy fall campground, focusing on celebrating girls who are building confidence, sharing stories, and discovering their inner strength while enjoying the spirit of autumn adventure. Activities include making paper pumpkin lanterns, leaf rubbings, and playing sing-along games with an indoor “campfire” and pop-up tent.

This event is a great way to ask questions and learn how Girl Scouts encourages the development of life skills, helps grow confidence, provides mental wellness help, and a great way for families to be involved in their child’s life.
