Today's riddle: What do you get when you cross an angry cow with an angry sheep? 🤔 (Answer below!)
• Secrecy, a canceled bid, and a lawsuit: Inside NH's troubled I-95 service plaza project (boston.com) — Hampton's aging I-95 liquor plazas are slated for a major overhaul into modern service centers with restaurants, fuel, and EV charging, but the state's effort to pick a developer has been mired in secrecy, a canceled bid, and a lawsuit. Local business leaders from the Hampton area want the redesign to showcase the Seacoast, while courts have allowed the contentious selection process to move forward.
• Seacoast Tuesday Roundup: Exeter boys, girls sweep tri-meet, more results (seacoastonline.com) — Winnacunnet athletes had a busy Tuesday, with the boys soccer team earning a 0-0 home draw in Hampton behind eight saves from sophomore keeper Jed Ziolkowski, and the girls team blanking Londonderry 4-0. The roundup also highlights strong showings by nearby Exeter, Portsmouth, York, and other Seacoast schools across cross country, golf, and soccer.
• NH primary sets up Sununu vs. Pappas and Shaheen vs. DiLorenzo in midterms (seacoastonline.com) — New Hampshire's primary set up marquee November matchups, including John Sununu versus Chris Pappas for U.S. Senate and Stefany Shaheen versus Anthony DiLorenzo in the 1st Congressional District. Hampton gets a nod as Select Board chair Carleigh Beriont finished third in that Democratic primary, while nearby South Hampton and Hampton Falls figure into key state Senate races that will shape Seacoast representation.
