Scholarships Available to Seacoast Teens for Self Defense Program
On June 15th, Chris Yonker, a Seacoast resident and Master in Sanchin Ryu Karate, is holding a 90-minute women's self defense class. He is offering three scholarships for the program to Seacoast teens who would like to attend the program.
The 90-minute workshop is a hands-on study of personal protection and self discovery. Street wise techniques are taught in a way so that size, strength, age nor athletic ability are factors in defending oneself. Learn to act on stressful situations rather than being controlled by them--all in a fun and safe ego-free environment.
According to a NY Times Survey, 1 out of 5 women surveyed reported having been assaulted. Most women today do not have the time to commit to attend a martial arts studio for ongoing classes. This program is intended to be a 90-minute intensive of both self defense mindset and personal protection.
Chris Yonker is a 7th Degree Master Black Belt of Sanchin Ryu Karate and a certified Neuro Linguistic Programming practitioner. He has a unique and dynamic approach to personal development and self defense. He lives in the Seacoast with his wife, Jolie.
If you are interested in applying for one of the three scholarships, please contact Chris Yonker at 603-778-1168.
