Ayotte to Endorse Stiles Today in Hampton

Stiles will formally accept it today during a free light lunch buffet at a local restaurant.

U.S. Sen. Kelly Ayotte, R-N.H., will formally announce her endorsement of District 24 State Sen. Nancy Stiles, R-Hampton, at an event from noon to 2 p.m. on Thursday at the 401 Tavern.

“I am absolutely thrilled to have the support of Sen. Ayotte, and her support means much to me,” Stiles said. “She has done so much in her time in Washington, and her future is very bright and I am happy to be one of her supporters as well.”

Invited guests include local business and political leaders, and the public is welcome to attend. Sen. Stiles is hosting a free light lunch buffet event with Sen. Ayotte after the press conference.

About Nancy – Nancy Stiles of Hampton was elected to the Senate in 2010; she previously served three terms in the New Hampshire House of Representatives. Currently, Nancy chairs the Senate Education Committee, serves on the Transportation, Public and Municipal Affairs, Election Law, and Veterans Affairs committees, and is a NH commissioner with the Education Commission of the States. In 2010, she was recognized with a Legislative Award from the Governor’s Council on Physical Fitness and was named the 2008 Legislator of the Year by the Council on Developmental Disabilities.
