Dozer: A past filled with horrific cruelty, but a future full of hope- with your help.

This is one determined fellow. Dozer came to the New Hampshire SPCA, in Stratham, NH a couple of months ago, a victim of neglect. He is a 5 1/2-year-old American Pit bull who was severely malnourished. He has become a staff and volunteer favorite, and he slowly and steadily is gaining weight and strength. He never lost his personality. And he never lost his capacity for love. Dozer may get along with some dogs, but must go to a cat-free home and one that has adults only. His forever home should be all about caring for this nice fellow, who endured a really rough patch in life and now only wants to be treated well. In return, he will shower you with lots of his special Dozer love. Like all the animals available for adoption at the New Hampshire SPCA, Dozer is neutered, micro-chipped and up to date on all his shots.
Despite horrific mistreatment and abuse, Dozer has come such a long way. To watch a touching video of Dozer’s journey click here— http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KYUuZah6AWU&feature=c4-overview&list=UUy8UO0R55S7z8m9fuyOCuxw

The NHSPCA is a safety net for thousands of homeless cats, dogs, horses, farm animals, bunnies, birds and other small animals in our community. We strive to provide each precious animal a safe place, medical treatment when needed, and most importantly a second chance at a loving home. The NHSPCA receives no state or federal money and relies solely on the generosity of our compassionate community.
