Final Day to Help Winnacunnet Win $140K
Become a "supporter" of the Warriors in the "Finding Undeniable" contest to help them gain some ground.

Tuesday is the last day to complete challenges to propel Winnacunnet High School to the top of a national online contest designed to build school spirit and community support through a friendly, scavenger hunt-style competition — in addition to awarding the winning school $140,000 in gear.
WHS sat in 20th place nationwide in Under Armour's "Finding Undeniable" competition as of 5:45 p.m. Monday, and at that time was the only New Hampshire high school and only one of three New England schools in the Top 50 overall.
Several challenges are still incomplete, although one of the easiest ways to increase WHS' total score is by becoming a supporter. WHS gets 10 points for each supporter, and more supporters would go a long way in helping the school climb the leaderboard.

"This is what is going to make the difference," WHS teacher Lisa Harris recently told the Hampton Union. "Even if we make all the challenges, there are teams that are ahead of us because they have more supporters."
WHS — a school with 1,250 students — only 261 supporters and had 76,386 total points as of 5:45 p.m. Monday, while Georgia's First Presbyterian Christian Academy — a school with only 120 students — was in first place with 262,855 points and 1,247 total supporters.

The contest carries a grand prize of $140,000 worth of Under Armour gear, uniforms and accessories for the winning school.
WHS had a strong showing and finished in 13th place in 2011, and Harris and other local teachers are still hoping to get more community involvement this year to exceed those results and build more Warrior spirit throughout the Seacoast.
