Discover N. Hampton During Prize-Filled Week
A special, prize-filled, "shop local"-focused week is coming to support North Hampton shops and businesses.

The North Hampton Business Association (NHBA) is launching its first annual Discover North Hampton Week with the help of more than 60 local North Hampton Businesses to encourage residents to shop local.
“In an effort to draw awareness to the benefits of shopping local, we have put together a contest for residents of North Hampton and the surrounding towns, to get out and visit local businesses”, says Amanda Bacon-Burdick, Executive Director of the NHBA. “All North Hampton residents will be receiving a map of North Hampton in the mail with a list of more than 60 participating businesses, and if they visit any 10 on the list, they will be eligible to win one of the prizes listed on the map!”

Discover North Hampton Week kicks off Saturday, October 6th and ends on Friday, October 12th. There is no purchase necessary to take part in this event, maps can also be downloaded at www.nhba-local.com – simply bring your map with you to the store and have it stamped.

Jim Better, President of the NHBA says, “This is a unique opportunity for residents to discover great local businesses in their area and win some fantastic prizes that total in more than $3,000 in value.”
Bacon-Burdick states, “Not only will residents and members of the community be participating in something fun, but by doing so will be helping out their community’s economy. When you shop locally owned businesses, your money is re-circulated over and over and creates up to 75% more tax revenue to your community and state.”
