Five Seacoast Valentine Deals This Weekend

As you're bombarded by Valentine's Day ads produced by national retail chains over the next couple of days, make sure you don't forget to take a look at the small, local guys if you're looking for a gift or night out that won't break the bank.

There are many businesses in the Seacoast area offering special Valentine's Day pricing, meals and gifts. Here are some of the places you could try:

1. : The Hampton florist is running a special right now on roses, one of the quintessential Valentine's Day gifts. If you place your delivery order by Friday, you'll get $10 off a dozen or more roses. Just be sure you print out and use the Drinkwater coupon attached to this article under "Photos."
2. : Chef Desiree is preparing a romantic, four-course meal at a special price for patrons on Valentine's Day. The restaurant's keeping things somewhat under wraps, but if you're looking for a night out with your valentine, call Hagan's Grill for more information or reservations at 926-5668.
3. : The North Hampton favorite is running a Valentine's Day raffle with a couple different prizes that could help sweeten that heart-shaped box of chocolates. Head on over to enter to win a $100 gift card to Joe's or a $65 mini makeover from Salon 72 of Stratham, which should be good a way to get you ready for your date on Tuesday.
4. : Ron's Landing is one of many local businesses that are both serving a full regular menu as well as special Valentine's Day dinner offerings. Just be sure to call ahead for reservations to this or any other restaurant you choose that way your date goes exactly as planned.
5. Brow Bar: This 50-percent-off deal may not be from a Hampton or North Hampton business, but you could always make your Valentine's Day date or gift a two-parter by surprising your significant other with a trip to Brow Bar of Portsmouth for a one-hour customized facial a day before you go out to dinner or on a romantic daytrip.
