Free HIV Screenings on Saturday
Families First and Lovering Center team up on International HIV Testing Day.

In connection with International HIV Testing Day on Saturday, June 27, staff from the Joan G. Lovering Health Center will offer free HIV tests at Families First Health & Support Center between 8 a.m. and noon, according to a press statement.
Appointments are not needed. The screenings are 100 percent confidential and open to everyone. The test is an oral swab with a 20-minute result; positive results will be followed up with a blood test.
The U.S. Centers for Disease Control recommends that everyone be tested at least once, so this screening is suggested for anyone who has never been tested, as well as people who may have been tested but have shared needles or had unprotected sex. For questions about the screening, call the Lovering Health Center at 603-436-7588. For directions to Families First, call 603-422-8208 (press 4) or visit FamiliesFirstSeacoast.org.
