Gov. Hassan to Visit Solar Powered Brewery on Friday

Maggie Hassan will be at Throwback Brewery for a ceremonial bill signing.

Gov. Maggie Hassan will be at New Hampshire's largest solar powered brewery, the Throwback Brewery, in North Hampton, on Friday morning, according to a clean energy advocacy group, The Alliance for Solar Choice.

Publicist Andrew Newbold said Hassan will visit the brewery for a ceremonial signing of the state's net metering bill, HB1116. "The bill also initiated a 10-month study by the state’s Public Utility Commission (PUC) to explore the future of clean energy policy in New Hampshire," he added.

Business leaders will be on hand, along with proponents of clean energy job growth and energy choice.
