Hall & Oates to Kick Off 2015 Season at Casino Ballroom

Black Label Society, Beach Boys, Slash, The Used, Chevelle Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo, The Wailers, Rusted Root also all performing.

The Casino Ballroom is proud to announce the first round of shows for the 2015 Budweiser Concert Series.

Opening night will take place on Sunday, March 29, with an incredibly rare Ballroom performance from the number one selling duo in music history Daryl Hall and John Oates. The concert series expects to ride the wave of success from 2014, when the historic venue hosted more than 70 concerts between April and November. Daryl Hall and John Oates are the number-one selling duo in music history!

From the mid-’70s to the mid-’80s, the duo would score six #1 singles, including “Rich Girl” (also #1 R&B), “Kiss on My List,” “Private Eyes,” “I Can’t Go For That (No Can Do) (also #1 R&B), “Maneater” and “Out of Touch” from their six consecutive multi-platinum albums—’76’s Bigger Than Both of Us, ’80’s Voices, ’81’s Private Eyes, ‘82’s H2O, ‘83’s Rock N Soul, Part I and ‘84’s Big Bam Boom. The era would also produce an additional 5 Top 10 singles, “Sara Smile,” “One on One,” “You Make My Dreams,” “Say It Isn’t So” and “Method of Modern Love.” On March 29th you have the chance to see this band perform in one of the smallest venues they have played in decades, the historic Casino Ballroom in Hampton Beach NH.

Black Label Society are the ongoing musical creation of infamous guitarist Zakk Wylde, who was plucked from obscurity by Ozzy Osbourne in 1987 and soon became a household name among heavy metal enthusiasts. Black Label Society were formed in 1998 after Wylde split from Ozzy and company. They recently released Unblackened, a live CD/DVD featuring a batch of stripped-down versions of their songs. The CD contains six bonus tracks, including covers of “Ain’t No Sunshine” by Bill Withers and “A Song For You” by Leon Russell. Concerts give ticket holders plenty of bang for their buck. The band is a world-class live act, dishing out powerful sets of blues-based rock and metal songs fueled by Wylde’s unmistakable guitar work and vocals.

The album hit #1 on the Billboard Indpendent Chart and has cemented The Used as leaders among the post-hardcore elite. Chevelle will be touring in support of their latest release “La Gargola. Their albu, which is the band’s seventh, builds on the group’s impressive foundation, including the 2002 platinum-selling genre staple Wonder What’s Next.

About the Casino Ballroom

Constructed in 1899, the Casino Ballroom at Hampton Beach has solidified itself as New Hampshire’s premiere live entertainment facility. Drawing millions of people through its doors for over 10 decades, the 2,200 seat venue has expanded its season to run from April through November.
