Hampton Flatbread Serving Pizza for First Time Friday
A special public celebration is planned at the High Street restaurant.

The new Hampton Flatbread Pizza location will hold a special oven building party Friday to celebrate the nearing opening of the company's newest restaurant.
The pizzeria, in the old building at 61 High St., is inviting members of the public to stop by between noon and 4 p.m. Friday to "be a part of Flatbread history," according to a post on the Facebook page for Martha's Vineyard Flatbread.
The company's mobile oven will also be on the premises, which is located across from Flatbread's corporate headquarters, to bake and serve pizza during the oven building day, according to the Facebook page.

Crews have been overhauling the interior of the Me and Ollie's building as a part of the conversion into a pizzeria. Flatbread co-owner John Meehan has previously estimated the restaurant .
