Hampton PTs Won't Let Start-Up Challenge Loss Slow Them Down
A local couple got strong feedback and plan to push ahead with their game-changing medical apps.

Two Hampton physical therapists say their loss in the annual N.H. Start-Up Challenge finals won't deter them from enhancing and expanding their smartphone applications in the hopes of changing the medical world for the better.
Mike and Monica Muldoon were selected along with two other entrepreneurs as in the for their , although they lost out to Gear Freedom during the awards ceremony last week.
Mike Muldoon said he received some "great feedback" about his apps, "passion and desire," though, and said his next steps are to continue to work on the apps — which are live — and work with some of the investors with whom he connected during the competition.

"This is not swaying our determination," said Muldoon. "We are poised to see out other avenues to further fund our venture beyond our current revenue streams.
"We are disappointed we did not win but we are confident we made a strong statement getting to the finals and we believe we have what it takes to refine our product and platform based upon the feedback."
