Come have Dinner on February 3rd and 10th at the Community Oven and help End Polio!
(Hampton, New Hampshire) The Rotary Club of Hampton has teamed up with the Community Oven Restaurant (845 Lafayette Rd, Hampton) to create awareness throughout our community as to Rotary’s Involvement in the Polio Global Eradication Initiative and to raise funds to help eradicate Polio. The fund raising efforts will take place on Monday, Feb 3rd and Monday, Feb 10th from 5-9p for eat-in purchases or from 4-9p for take-out purchases. The Community Oven will generously donate up to 15% of their proceeds during these two nights to the Rotary Foundation PolioPlus Program.
In addition, Hampton Rotarians will be on hand each night to share information about Rotary’s involvement with the worldwide Global Polio Eradication Initiative since 1985 and to answer any questions people in the community may have about Polio and Rotary’s efforts and involvement. Rotarians are working to ensure that the poliovirus will be found only in history books and NOT in children and we are 99% there.
The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation will be matching all donations 2:1 in an effort to finish the job so a contribution of $25 + $50 contribution from the Gates Foundation becomes a total donation of $75. Individual donations can be made during each night. Checks can be made payable to The Rotary Club of Hampton Charitable Foundation – PolioPlus.
