I have made adjustments into what I thought I would be offering in this first quarter. I am following the energy and trusting the guidance. It’s difficult to course correct if we aren’t in movement. So even though, I have had to change things, I know I am in alignment and it’s for my highest good. Sometimes my head still likes to run the show, then I tune into when the energy isn’t flowing, to see if I was making decisions from fear or from love. If fear shows up then I tune into love and let that guide me.
Speaking of love, I am so very excited to be leading a group through six weeks of Tapping for Sustainable Weight Loss. It begins Thursday January 28th, and you can still join us if you would like to lose weight, sustain weight loss, and feel great. f
Energetically Remove Obstacles to losing weight and keeping it off with a powerful, loving and results oriented 6 weeks of TAPPING!
I will hold a safe and sacred space while accompanying you on a journey of deep inner work to visit and heal core issues so you can have a body that you love. For six weeks, we will spend 90 minutes of guided energy TAPPING to address the hidden gems that may be the real culprits as to why you are not winning your weight loss battle and health goals. What you discover may surprise you, and more importantly will empower you to move forward with confidence and success.
During these 6 weeks, together we will:
- explore the pain, tension and fear that keeps you looped in self destructive habits
- create a more empowering and loving relationship with food, exercise and your body
- reveal the hidden layers of why your body holds onto weight
- learn tools for self reflection, personal growth, and a healthy mind, body, spirit connection
- use meditation and tapping for weight loss and body image challenges
- release the emotions and beliefs that hold you back from loving you and your body
- leave behind the diet and exercise rollercoaster
- embrace a new inner peace, self love, and self acceptance
How does tapping help you lose weight? Every time you feel a negative emotion or are triggered by an old or unconscious memory, your amygdala signals your body to go into fight or flight mode. Adrenaline and cortisol are released, your blood pressure, blood sugar levels and heart rate increase so you can meet the challenges. All of your body’s energy is channeled to self defense (even though you are really not in danger,) so that less essential functions like digestion are either slowed or shut down.
If your body is not digesting food, it has a negative impact on your metabolism which prevents the body from absorbing the nutrients that it needs. Without this essential nourishment, your body can trigger false hunger signals not because it is hungry but because it cannot properly digest the food that is available.
The overproduction of cortisol (known as the stress hormone) has been directly linked to abdominal obesity. Tapping calms your nervous system and halts the fight or flight response which lowers cortisol levels. With tapping you can change how your brain reacts to stress and triggers. In these six weeks, we will be exploring specifically the emotions, triggers and actions that are keeping you stuck in a body that you do not like or accept. When you don’t like something, it is hard to take care of it, so you will also learn to love your body so that you can treat it with the love and respect it deserves.
