Local Charity to Give Animal Shelter Facelift

The planned renovations include a new floor and improved air circulation.

Hampton nonprofit Project Pawsitive will be giving Salem Animal Rescue League a much-needed facelift from Sept. 14 to 16, including a new floor in one of the buildings, a soundproof quarantine room and improved circulation in all of their trailers, according to the Eagle-Tribune.

The paper reported Project Pawsitive works to renovate shelters in need and they try to do it for four to six shelters every year.

According to the paper, the work will be financed by personal donations as well as corporate sponsorships. One of those companies is Pet Life, which has a location in Salem.
