Mass. Fugitive, Wanted On More Than Half A Dozen Felony Warrants, Arrested In Hampton

HAMPTON, NH — Police in Hampton and the U.S. Marshals Service captured a Massachusetts fugitive who was wanted on more than a dozen charges on Monday.

Carlos Javier Jimenez, 29, of Randolph, MA, was wanted on warrants out of Massachusetts based on 16 charges, including more than half a dozen felony charges. Deputy Chief Alex Reno said the arrest was a combined effort by police and marshals. Jimenez was found around 2:15 p.m. on Monday at a home on Dunvegan Woods Drive.

Jimenez was wanted on larceny, witness intimidation, receiving a stolen motor vehicle, carrying a dangerous weapon, breaking and entering a building-nighttime, and two assault and battery on a family-household member charges, all felonies. Misdemeanor charges included drug possession, leaving the scene of property damage, use of a motor vehicle without authority, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, operating under the influence of drugs, allowing unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, marked lanes violation, and two operating with a suspended license charges.

Jiminez is being held at the Rockingham County Jail on preventive detention. He will be arraigned on Tuesday in Hampton District Court.
