May Showers Could be Heading to the Seacoast
The weekend could be a mix of showers and sun in New Hampshire, according to weather forecasters.

The Granite State has had a very nice spring, so far, but the dry spell has really hammered open spaces and brush with flames and debris, and red flag warnings for a good part of the month. So the rain that might hit New Hampshire this weekend should be a welcome relief.
AccuWeather.com forecasters are predicting showers on Friday and Saturday, with potentially severe thunderstorms hitting New England. But it won’t be a total washout. The sun is expected to return on Sunday.
Here’s the weekend forecast, according to the National Weather Service.

Some fog in the morning on Friday but otherwise, a nice, sunny day, with highs in the lower 70s and a light breeze.
During the evening though, there’s a 50 percent chance of showers hitting most of New Hampshire. Temps will be in the high 40s and lower 50s.

On Saturday, more rain is expected with highs in the mid-60s. The showers have a 30 percent chance of extending into the evening with highs around 50.
The sun returns on Sunday with highs in the upper 60s. The clouds return on Sunday night and there’s a slight chance of showers again on Monday and Tuesday, according to forecasters.
