NHSP: Maine Man Bagged for Stealing Car
Pursuit on I-95 in Hampton ends in Massachusetts.

A Maine man was arrested last night for allegedly stealing a vehicle in that state, according to New Hampshire State Police.
Wesley Ruede, 22 of Oxford, ME, was arrested on Aug. 16, 2015, and charged with being a fugitive from justice in Massachusetts, as well as receiving stolen property (felony), reckless operation, disobeying a police officer, and operating without a license in New Hampshire.

According to state police, a trooper out of Troop A received a report about a Nissan Versa operating erratically on I-95 South in Greenland.
The trooper caught up with the vehicle at the Hampton Toll Plaza and learned that it was allegedly stolen out of Lewiston, ME. The trooper attempted to make a motor vehicle stopped but the Nissan reportedly refused to stop.

The pursuit of the Nissan continued on I-95 with the vehicle allegedly reaching 90 mph, according to a report. After the vehicle crossed the Massachusetts border, state police there took over primary responsibility of the pursuit near Exit 58. The vehicle was stopped in the area of Exit 51 when troopers deployed a tire deflation device.
The driver, Ruede, was taken into custody without further incident and was held without bail.
