HAMPTON, NH — Two teens are facing a number of charges after a robbery in Hampton Saturday. Around 5 p.m. police were sent to the area of Depot Square for a report of an assault incident. According to Deputy Chief David Hobbs, a group of individuals pulled into the square in a black SUV and assaulted a victim.
During the investigation of the incident, police learned that it was not only an assault but also a robbery. Cameron Ayers, 18, of North Hampton, was accused of punching the victim in the stomach during the robbery and a short time after the incident, was charged with conspiracy to commit robbery, witness tampering, and simple assault.
