One Killed in Early Morning Seabrook Apartment Fire

Numerous firefighters, Red Cross assisted at the scene this morning.

SEABROOK, NH — A person was killed this morning at an apartment fire in Seabrook, according to alerts online. Firefighters from the town and surrounding communities were sent to the 12-unit apartment blaze at around 1 a.m. on Oct. 3, 2016. Rockingham Alert reported on Facebook that a man lost his life during the fire but no more information is available at post time. No other injuries were reported either and the cause is currently unknown.

Volunteers from the American Red Cross responded to the fire to assist first responders with food and drink, according to Janet Vaughan.

Mutual aid teams – including Portsmouth – were called to the scene to assist.

The state fire marshal's office reported on Facebook that more details about the fire would be available later this morning.
