One Left Homeless After Hampton Fire

Firefighters from Hampton, Exeter, Seabrook were sent to Ashworth Avenue for a building blaze; the Red Cross assisting with a displacement.

HAMPTON, NH — Firefighters from Hampton and other communities were called to Ashworth Avenue for a building fire last night, according to reports online. The fire was reported before 8 p.m. on Jan. 28, 2017, according to alerts, in a three-unit apartment building.

Sections of the road were closed for a few hours.

Firefighters from Exeter and Seabrook were also at the scene to assist.

According to Dan Brown of the NH Red Cross, one adult was displaced due to the fire. The team has met with the resident and ensure that they have food, clothing, and other essentials, as well as a place to sleep.
