• Hampton board rejects calls for Chuck Rage to recuse himself from beach trash talk (seacoastonline.com) — Hampton's Select Board has decided that member Chuck Rage will stay involved in debating whether to end free commercial curbside trash pickup and move to a fee-based system. Board members say his Hampton Beach business interests don't create a unique conflict, while residents and officials continue weighing whether taxpayers should keep subsidizing the roughly $536,000 annual service for local businesses.
