• Men accused of stealing used cooking oil could be billed after evidence spills (wmur.com) — Hampton police say three men accused of stealing about 1,000 gallons of used cooking oil from local restaurants may also be billed for cleanup after some of the seized oil spilled at the police station. Town officials are weighing whether the suspects should cover the unexpected cleanup costs as investigators look into whether the oil was destined to be turned into biodiesel. 
• Riffs and raw energy: BEAUTY SCHOOL DROPOUT takes over Roseville as opener for 'The Circus' tour (melodicmag.com) — Hampton rock fans will get their turn when alt-rock band Beauty School Dropout brings its high-energy 'The Circus' tour to Wally's on October 29. The group is earning praise for intense live shows that blend pop-punk and heavy rock, and this stop offers locals a chance to catch a nationally touring act in an intimate venue close to home.
