Response to RTOH's Endorsement of Barbara Lawless

Let's set the record straight. First, Ms. Lawless is related by marriage to Mr. Silberdick. Her daughter is married to Mr. Silberdick's son. So, what is the real reason the Rational Taxpayers of Hampton organization, led by Norm Silberdick, is endorsing Ms. Lawless? Second, Mr. Silberdick was voted off the Hampton School Board a few years back because of his extremist and radical positions towards education. Third, Mrs. Shepard was not terminated. She retired. As a teacher, administrator, parent, grandparent, and community member, she always had, and has, every child's best interests at heart every day, including Ms. Lawless' children. One can only imagine what self-serving, detrimental agenda Mr. Silberdick's group has for the education of the students of Hampton. Ms. Lawless' candidacy for the Hampton School Board is also self-serving. She should also recall that "people who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones."
