Oliver Denelle of Narragansett, RI, was arrested on several charges after a crash on Interstate 95 in Greenland on Sunday morning.

CONCORD, NH — A man from Rhode Island was arrested and held on preventive detention early Sunday morning after a crash on Interstate 95, according to New Hampshire State Police.

Around 1 a.m., troopers were sent to an SUV crash in an active construction zone on the northbound side of the highway in Greenland. When they arrived, they found a 2018 Range Rover Velar in the median nearly Mile Marker 10.8.

“The preliminary investigation determined that the Range Rover had been traveling northbound on I-95 when, for reasons that remain under investigation, the driver lost control of the vehicle and went through the center median before rolling into the southbound lanes of I-95 and ultimately coming to a stop in the center median,” a report stated. “After the crash, the driver fled on foot into the woods on the southbound side of I-95.”
