The Roses are in Bloom at Fuller Gardens

The nonprofit public estate garden unveils 2015 summer events.

More visitors than ever are discovering the Seacoast’s exquisite public botanical garden that boasts one of the largest rose bush collections in New England, according to a press statement.

Fuller Gardens is an historic garden located at the former estate of Alvan T. Fuller - who served as Massachusetts Governor and built a fortune as the first automobile dealer in the nation. Fuller’s legacy has delighted visitors since he first commissioned the Gardens as a tribute to his wife, Viola, back in the late 1920s. The nonprofit organization relies on visitors, members, businesses, and grants for support.

Says Garden Director Jamie Colen, “People appreciate the peaceful experience of Fuller Gardens. It’s convenient yet off the beaten path. And there’s nothing like the scent of roses mixed with the sea air! We invite you to discover a perfect summer diversion now that the roses are in full bloom.”
